Bream Heritage Walk

54 – Bream Woodside

The name Woodside is not unique to Bream, there are other examples at Ruardean and Woolaston.

Down the hill and to the right the grass covered mounds are the remnants of coal spoil from a nearby coal mine. Opposite the mounds, across the road and on a small Green, was the well that served the area until it was filled in after piped water arrived.
