After the kissing gate there is a short but steep grassy uphill section for about 30m. At the top look to your left and slightly behind you. No 49 is a kissing gate that allows you to cross the drive.

Currently (June 2025) there is an electric fence to open and close behind you. The fence is there to allow horses to graze. To open the fence, grasp the green insulated handle and unhook the white tape. Walk through the gap you have created, then re-hook the handle behind you.
