More progress on the Heritage Feature.

A surround of a single layer of bricks from Coleford Brick & Tile at Cinderford has been added to the feature to aid maintenance. The bricks were hand made at the Cinderford works. The infill is a layer of crushed slate. The slate is not local to the area.

Timber Harvesting at China Bottom

Heritage work at Oakwood

Work is taking place near posts 17 and 19 to repair a wall close to the tramroad and the entrance to Oakwood Mill Deep Level. The work is ongoing. Please comply with all signage to enable the work to be carried out safely. The photo above shows the entrance to the level in early 2021.
